Position: Pre Sales Engineer / Sr. Systems Engineer

Our client was founded in January of 2017 with the goal of enabling companies and administrators to use a stable, scalable and reliable storage solution.
They're looking for an entrenched Pre Sales Engineer / Sr. Systems Engineer as they look to expand the business and grow the team out of North America.
We are looking for someone highly intrinsic, always striving to deliver best in class solutions, taking active ownership with an innate curiosity to always dig deeper.
Your mission will be ....
- Facilitate technical meetings with prospects and customers
- Assist prospects and customers with evaluation of different products and services
- Demonstrate product capabilities
- Address technical questions
- Create technical standards
- Create solution designs
- Technical account management
- Operational resolution support
We would love to see strong experience in the following ....
- 10 plus years experience in production IT infrastructure design, automation, and operations
- 10 plus years experience in Linux and compute virtualization platforms
- 3 plus years experience in sales, technical presales, or customer technical support
- 3 plus years experience storage architecture and engineering, particularly with deep understanding of Ceph
- Strong scripting and technical infrastructure skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
