Position: CEPH Engineer

Our client was founded in January of 2002 in Helsinki with the goal of bring the extensive knowledge of CEPH operations into a software solution, so that other companies and administrators are enabled to use CEPH stable and reliable.
They're looking for an entrenched CEPH Expert to join their passionate team and have retained us to secure this business critical hire.
We are looking for an expert, highly intrinsic, always striving to deliver best in class solutions, taking active ownership with an innate curiosity to always dig deeper.
Your mission will be ....
- The Expert will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of advanced, massive scale storage clusters. This includes monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and integrity of the storage systems, automating tasks, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additional responsibilities include working closely with other team members to optimize and enhance the storage solutions.
We would love to see strong experience in the following ....
- Strong knowledge and experience with Ceph and other storage systems like DAOS.
- Expertise in system administration (Linux, Unix).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience in management and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills.
