Our client is developing digital solutions designed to help businesses operate more efficiently, streamline financial processes, and unlock new opportunities through scalable, technology-driven products.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Engineering to lead their engineering organisation, drive technical excellence, and support the development of innovative, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an established engineering leader who combines strong technical credibility with proven people-management skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for building high-performing teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping engineering strategy, developing talent, and ensuring technology continues to support the company's ambitious growth plans.
We would love to see strong experience in the following ....
- Proven experience as a Head of Engineering, Head of Development, or in an equivalent senior engineering leadership role, with experience leading multiple teams.
- Concrete examples of developing people, improving team performance, and handling complex management decisions.
- Strong technical credibility combined with a pragmatic, commercially aware approach to engineering leadership.
- Demonstrable experience building and delivering AI-powered solutions that are deployed and actively used in production environments.
- The ability to establish effective engineering practices, maintain high technical standards, and drive continuous improvement.
- A direct, collaborative leadership style that builds trust, encourages accountability, and empowers teams to perform at their best.
- Experience aligning engineering priorities with business objectives and delivering secure, scalable technology solutions within a FinTech or SaaS environment.
